I know this should have been up 12 days ago…and I apologise for my delay. But I still believe in better late than never, so here I am with my post. Things have been crazily busy, and I did just turn 32, but be assured that I am 100% on this, even if it might not seem like it at the moment. I really enjoyed taking Bulgakov’s novel around with me this August. It was such a smart, witty, provocative and pictorial companion to walk me through my summer days. The book made me laugh, think, imagine and question an infinite number of things in a direction I wouldn’t have expected it to… But without getting way too cryptic in this intro, let me talk you through my review.

Hi guys! I am so incredibly sorry for my embarrassing delay in writing this post, and for not having been able to update my blog in general. June and July have been two crazily hectic months for me…but as the ballet season is over, and I am finally on holiday, I will be able to be more active here, I promise.

I hope you all had a blast reading our June’s Book Club pick Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. I know I did, and it was a lovely light read to accompany me in these two last months of the season. It is the story of a growing friendship, and it has ‘popped’ in my life at the perfect moment, as I’ve also been busy working at strengthening and rekindling some friendships too…
